You will find a very warm welcome from ourselves, here at the Church of St Mary The Virgin, Ingestre.
We aim to make your visit to us as enjoyable as possible whether it is organising or enjoying a special event such as a wedding service or baptism or you want to join us for services and prayers.
Finished in 1676, built by Walter Chetwynd to a design attributed to Sir Christopher Wren, our church has been lovingly restored over recent years so that it can be enjoyed by all who come to visit.
church historyHaving the wedding service and reception in one place allows your day to go as smoothly as possible. Although we have no affiliation with Ingestre Hall or Ingestre Orangery, both facilities cater for wedding receptions and are both within a few hundred yards of the church.
